One Strangle and another as long as life last for killing – Rajshahi

Obaydul Islam Robi Rajshahi :  A court has sentenced one of the convicts and another for life imprisonment in the Alamin killing case of Raypara area under Rajpara Police Station district of Rajshahi.


Judge of the Rajshahi Speedy Trial Tribunal Shirin Kobita Akhtar declared the verdict on Sunday noon, state prosecutor Anantaj Haque Babu said. The convicts are Abdul Malek Mollapara area of Rajpara Police station of the city son of Isahaque Ali, and Jahangir Hossain village sorishakuri under paba upazila son of Shamsuzzoha District of Rajshahi.


The lawyer, Antajul Haque Babu, said the court sentenced Abdul Malek to death and Jahangir Hossain has been given life imprisonment. At the same time, they were fined Tk 20,000 by both of them. According to the sources, the accused, Abdul Malek and his associate Jahangir, were arrested in the custody of Rajshahi Police Station’s Rajpara Police Station on 5 August, 2013, after the dispute over the sale of the Shaleo engine-powered . Alamin is murdered in the hands of a knife. father Abdul Wahab filed the murder case at Rajpara Police Station. In this connection a case has been filed accused Abdul Malek’s brother Tarique Rahman and Jahangir Hossain of the case.


Rajpara Police Station filed the charge sheet in court without the names of Tarique’s name after the investigation. During the court proceedings, testimony of 15 people was taken.
